A guy here at work has a P-51 Roush themed mustang...  It has a 510hp sticker on it, supercharged if I recall correctly.  My huge G8 handles better than it does and I can get 500hp at the wheels for less than half the price he paid, but for a mustang it sure is a nice looking car.

Not my bag exactly, but it's probably the nicest special edition new mustang that I've seen.

So, where are the six .50 cals? Do they pop up from the headlights like in that one James Bond movie?

Should've added the anti-glare panel all the way up to the glass.

That looks awesome!

I am a Ford man, so I am torn between that and my Luft-dweebness.

I've always wanted to see a BMW done up as a Fw-190A- or a Merc done up as a Bf-109

Design team my butt...how hard is it to design a paint job and have someone at the paint shop in the factory do it. IF it went for $250k then that was about $240k more than it should have sold for.

My $.02 that is all.

There was more to the car than just a paint job.  Also keep in mind the car was auctioned for charity.  It was in no way worth $250k, was just more  of a bonus gift for a large donation.

They had a very tidy Vauxhall (HSV) VXR8 Bathurst S Edition (modified Clubsport) and (HSV) Maloo VXR on the UK Top Gear last night

My father used to own one of the re-issued Monaros.... That was fun to drive.

In fact, I learnt to drive in a Monaro when they were first re-released. The old man used to work for Holden, so he'd bring home all the new Holden toys when they came out.

I used to get up to all sorts of mischief in those cars on my Ls.

I doesn't take very long to get over 100kms an hour in a V8 clubby, let me tell you.   :lol

I'm not a one-eyed Ford fan.... I'd happily buy a Holden if it were a better product. As things are at the moment, I don't think that Holden makes a car that can beat anything Ford has to offer below the V8 SS level.

Except, of course, the Sportswagon... which is an awesome car.

If I was in the market for a wagon with balls, I wouldn't even look at Ford.

The XR6T has no peer in the Holden stables and even the XR8 is a better car than the V8 SS, I think.

For what I'm driving at the moment, it's far and away in front of even much newer Holdens.

Having said that, a Supercharged VX Commodore was the first car I ever got sideways in.  :lol
