Title: "Detailed Terrain" checkbox greyed out.........

Would be great if I could turn that off.  Oh and .r seems to not be working across the arenas, but to peeps in the same arena all it works fine.

This should not be checked AND grey-ed out.  If so, let us know.

Edit: took out suggested fix - didn't work. We're looking into it.

Its "checked and greyed out" on mine as well. Deleted the video8.cfg file and it did nothing. I can't even play the game now since the latest patch. All the terrains look like white snow, no color or features. All other objects look fine, like trees, hangers, runways, etc, etc. The ground and water are completely white. Depending upon the POV out of the cockpit, there may even be horizontal lines running across certain areas like towns and the base itself. This is very frustrating and disappointing, being as how long I have been playing and can no longer do so. I'm not complaining, only venting. I cannot afford to upgrade any time soon and have been playing just fine without any real issues up till now. I wish this was an easy fix for me, but, I'm afraid its not going to be.

OK - we got this fixed for the next patch.  In the meantime, you can manually fix it by:

Ok, but what if there is no "world.cfg" file?

Go into your graphics option menu and select Default and then OK.  You should now have a world.cfg file in your settings folder.  That should get you playing for now.  We're trying to get a fix for this issue out today.

In the readme:

Changed the .r quick reply command to only work with personal messages and not squad messages.

tec go into the grapic options and press ok, it will make one for you.

see sduz thats what i was talking to you about it was greyed out for me and had detailed checked which made nooooo sense to me why it would be checked.

The new patch is out which will fix this issue.
