I read in another thread, that if they are greyed out, it means that the new graphics are not compatable with some of your system equip..
Try perusing the other threads, tons of info coming up right now, as ppl start dinking with the new version...

Semi-quote from HTC...

...we look at your video card and disable the features that the card won't support...

I could swallow that but I'm only using 3.1m out of a possible 360mb I also heard a lot of people on 200 last night saying the same thing. I'm not sure if this is maybe because certain features are disabled that I'm only using this amount of memory.
I'm running Vista on a sony vaio laptop after reading and applying skuzzy's vista tips it actually runs quite well now the only downside being the graphics card. Its coming up as Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family.

The Intel video chips do not support the shaders required to be able to run the new graphic options.  That is why they are grayed out.

Intel video chips are literally about $3.00.  They are the cheapest video chips in the market and they have the least amount of 3D hardware support.  SiS may be the only other video chip in that class.

However, you should be able to check the "Bump Mapping" option.
