sorry but just got the new version and the frame rate and the jerkiness of the game  makes it unplayable.  Too bad this is my favorite game.

Do i have to choose between a new computer or ah?

i dont know thats what im asking my self but wait my mohter has no job which means i cant get a new comp so i have to drop AH2

If you are having performance issues with the game, try the following:

1)  In the game's "Video Settings" change the "Maximum Texture Size" to 256, or less.
2)  Check the video resolution and see if it is too high.
3)  In the game itself, under Options->Graphic Details->Advanced, uncheck options there until the frame rate is back to acceptable levels.

Skuzzy please post a sticky on "How to fix your frame rate issues / post patch" or something like that...

This way your fingers won't bleed before the nights end man..!

thanks skuzz!  It works, but im looking at getting at least a new card or , hopefuly, a new puter.

Skuzy, my pc isnt even paid off yet, and im not going into to debt again to buy another one.

Ive reduced the game to bare minimum, and its worse than the old version.
Im going out fri. to see what I can do about getting this old AMD up to snuff, and if my frame rate still sets in the gutter, its adios amebo's.
