Title: missing folders and files??

my OS in vista, I run AH as administrator for the update, carried out the update but all my plane skins had vanished and all my key bindings, so i started to download the files manually from the website and it kept asking if i wanted to overwrite the file, when I opened folder view..I can see all my old skin and files but they are not there when I look through my computer??  :uhoh
