Title: Lost settings
Post by: Roundeye on July 28, 2009, 06:28:03 PM
Every time I open the game since upgrading, my settings are all set to default.  I re-map everthing and it gets set right back to default every time I close and re-open the game.

System: Vista 64  home premium service pack 1.

Any ideas?

Im having the exact same problem, and I have the same system.

Is this a problem with the game, or with the operating system?

What is the full installation path of where you have AH installed?  Is it in C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II or somewhere else?

You should install outside of program files, I have my install in C:\aces, you will then avoid the permission problems you're having.

I uninstalled and re-installed. That fixed it........ just was hoping not to go down that road.

It's a pain to reinstall but that's what we're strongly recommending to all Vista users who are installed in Program Files.  It's just going to be an ongoing problem if you keep it where it is.  Please see the Vista post up in the news and announcement forum.
