Upgrade to the Nvida driver (190.38) and it seems to solve things like framerate issues, blurry cockpit/instruments/etc.
Give it shot if your card supports it.. Don't forget to install Ntune or Nvidia System tools so you tweak some settings...
-
It doesnt fix the stuttering problems ...
-
Can you please post the link to the drivers?

Read the release notes to make sure your card is supported.. This driver doesn't support Geforce FX cards or below..

Thank you, Anodizer! This driver is for XP users. I have Vista, but after a brief search, I found a driver update for Vista users. Here is the link. Note: this driver is for GeForce users, particularly for the 9 series.

Yes, in my haste and jubilation of the updated driver fixing practically all my issues, I should remembered that it wouldn't work for every and possibly throw a
monkey wrench into the whole process of figuring an optimized graphic configuration to run the game.. Sorry gents! :salute

True it doesn't help with the stuttering issues, already had the latest video drivers.

Does it help 7-series GeForce? I used the NVIDIA automated driver update search last night and it said I had the latest driver for my card.

Whenever I have any graphical problems, the first thing I do is go to the the chipset manufacturer's site (i.e., either nvidia or amd), get, and install the latest drivers for my card.
So, if you have an nVidia chipset, that's nvidia.com; and for Radeon, that's amd.com.
Then just follow the site's instructions on how to get the latest drivers for your graphics card (generally "support and drivers" sort of menu item), follow their download and installation instructions for your card, your OS, etc.

Don't know if this would help anyone, but in the past I've used Driver Detective. Helped me out before.

Good program, good suggestion. For me I already get the latest drivers directly from nVidia automatically. And before anyone asks here's my info.

No sweat, Ano. I downloaded the driver for my Vista machine. It seems that there really was no improvement on my part. I get occasional fps spikes up into the 80s-90, but that was the only new thing. I had noticed that the anisotropic filtering was increased when updating that driver. So right now, objects in the distance are more blurrier than before. But I believe its a game related issue, not necesarily the video card.

I can vouch... this appeared to fix a lot of my problems... my stuttering is about 98% gone and its certainly flyable and fightable again! :aok :aok

Downloaded new drivers and hires pack last night but haven't tried it. Will tonight
