Title: simplify
Post by: phatzo on July 29, 2009, 12:44:26 AM
OK
I'm sitting at work on my lunch break reading all these posts about poor frame rates graphics etc. and reading lots of answers. I have a newish system (12 months old) and was only getting 40 to 45 fps in the beta, so, I expect something similar in the new version. I'm sure this is fixable but it feels like all these people have got all these problems and all these answers, placed them in a 44 gallon drum and rolled them down the biggest hill they could find. Being computer illiterate I'm starting to panic and thinking of hiring professional help before I've even gone home and downloaded it. Can someone with a bit of brains and plain language put forth a post to help us illiterates out.

it is not that bad. Just download and take your time to set things up. Take baby steps in the changes you make if you need to make any. one thing I feel you should do is download from this site and don't let it auto update.

Oh yeah one other thing, somebody else may be able to help here. I didn't save settings and have to redo all stick settings. I'm not sure if you can save but if you can it will save you some time.

And I'm not computer literate but I managed......."Yu cn do it"
