Title: I.D. this Spitfire
Post by: Widewing on March 08, 2001, 07:55:00 PM
I know that everyone is trying out the new planeset tonight, so I don't expect a lot of visits to this BBs. However, I'll post this tonight anyway.

Identify this Spitfire by Mk., and be specific.

I think it has extended wingtips? Therefore it's either the dedicated high-alt VII, or a VIII with HF wingtips.

Well, it seems to be Isreali if that helps anyone.

Yep Spit VIII, MV154 painted as MT928 ZX-M of 145 sqdn(actually carries the latter serial)owned and flown by Robs Lamplough. No extended wingtips though.

Cheers

Exactly correct. This is is Lamplough's Spitfire HF.Mk.VIIIC, and it is a beauty.
