i noticed the stuttering as well when i first installed the patch. I really think its just the cache rebuilding itself because after some time playing, it went away. I just logged on again and I had no stuttering.

also make sure in your nvidia panel, under the AH2 settings you change all the AA options to application controlled, and take of smooth shadows under the advance graphic settings in game

I am not having the stuttering problem and my system is not new.  I am running a Intel dual core 6600 2.4 gig with a EVGA GTX 260, and 3 gig of ram.  I have everything turned all the way up and am maintaining a fairly steady 60 fps.

Not a bad rig at all 999000, honestly if you play your cards right you should have little to no issue running the new version. BaldEagl put up a nice post and about the first half of it that is talking about maintenance and such should be a big help for ya.
