Brewster will out turn the I-16, however, the I-16 has cannons, if it can get a shot off the brewster might be missing pieces, or Pilot Wounded, which would even things back up.

They are both a barrel of fun in my opinion.

People, we had an update and we have the Brewster. The Brewster is a turn-plane, it's good, has no WEP, but it doesn't need it. This thing hasn't got the best guns but they're good enough.
Get in a Brewster, fly it and you'll see soon enough it's a turn fighter. I out-turned a Hurricane and A6M, the best turners.
I think I can actually fly well :devil and also the thing is like a bug. It's small, perfect for dodging bullets. It's a small little biplane really. Also look at where the joystick touches the bottom of your plane-hole!

Corrected (took me 5 minutes) :aok

I like the handling on the brewster but the views are terrible. It makes me feel like I'm sitting in a chicken-wire cage. On a side note the roll rate on the I-16 is excellent.

I like the handling as well, but I do not mind the chicken cage canopy, probably because I am used to the FM2 anyway. I must disagree on the I-16s roll rate, I have trouble getting it to roll at all, and when I try to snap roll it, it goes ka-flatter stall.

Um... how can it be LIKE a biplane, but not BE a biplane? Aren't biplanes and monoplanes kinda... mutually exclusive?

It is good that there is still punctuation in the world.

The English Language is a powerful thing. Used properly it can bring any woman naked into your arms or cause entire countries to quake with fear. It is all powerful in conflict and the ultimate paint on the canvas of life. However, if no one can understand a thing you are trying to say, you might as well wear a helmet walking down the street.

You see stealth? This is true word-smithing art, created by the firing of synapses in the venison chuck we call brains, and properly melded into a wonderful variety of sounds that we translate into language. Being able to use one's mastery of language to create music like this is truly the pinnacle of language.

And you're going by this because of you're 'experten' skill?  I'm sure that the Soviet pilots during the Winter and Continuation War would seriously disagree with you.

I take it you've been shot down a lot while flying this plane.

I find both planes have their strengths and weaknesses, but they are fun to fly.

i agree but realy both have sucky guns and the brewster dosent even have a drop tank or bombs and people said it took off carriers so give it a tail hook and make it take off carriers also the brewster was modifed for the USA as well acordeing to what i know

I agree, but really both have weak guns, and the Brewster doesn't even have a drop tank or a bomb. People said it took off carriers, so give it a tail hook and make it so that the B-239 can take off from carriers. Also, the Brewster was modified for the U.S.A. as well, according to what I know.
Any gun that can take down a plane is not sucky. The Brewster F2A-(1-3) were carrier fighters, designed for the U.S. Navy. The Brewster B-239, which we have in game, is the export version of the F2A-1 (or is it the 2?) made by the Brewster Corporation, an American company. Therefore, the B-239 was never modified for the United States.

Too right, big fat wings, light little body, the thing is awesome.  Once you get behind somebody it's gonna be a BEAR gettin' this thing off your assets.

That having been said- Stealth, go see your English teacher, and pay close attention to paragraphs, sentence structure, and proper punctuation.

Now THAT having been said, a lot of y'all have no business flaming.  Too many of you crazy tulips don't know the difference between lose and loose, and you're and your.  Just sayin.

Actually, unless you're in an early war fighter, shaking a Brewster off your tail is a rather easy and simple thing to do.

Yep, extend to d1.5, enter into a shallow climbing turn, gradually tightening it into a spiral climb above the Brewster and then come down on it for the kill.
