Title: bomber drones

my bomber drones seem to disappear when i take off. gone! i flew lancasters in the midwar from 61.

same (or maybe a little different) happened to me last night in LW Orange. Took off with Ju88 and *poof* drones went missing. I restarted and noticed that the drones didn`t stay behind me and instead flying towards whatsoever target...

In LW Orange this afternoon - Baltic Map - there was chatter about not being able to get drones up at bases that were not sea level.  I did not try it personally, but several others did.  A squadmate had the problem in B-17s.

My drones disappeared right after bombing a target in Offline mode. Not sure where they went...

No drones at all for me.  I double checked the box, restarted etc.  Still get no drones with bombers.

3 of us from my squad upped tonight in Lancs with Formation checked.  None of us had drones when we left the runway.

Incidentally, after the flight, I was forced to ditch on a friendly field with the only bomber I had left.  When I checked the score page a moment ago, it apparently scored the 2 lost drones as a ditch also.

I tried three times last night in the LW arena; and I un-checked and then re-checked the "formation" box as well. No bomber drones. The base I attempted was a 3k base I think.

I also tried in the TA. There were drones present but as soon as I upped the drones immediately fell down that 20K stovepipe platform that the air bases are sitting on in the bombing training area. I heard the explosions when they augered.

Without changing any settings, my frame rates went up with the new patch. My dashboard and the entire game are more defined than ever with the new patch; so I don't think this is a problem with my computer.

My observation
if the ground was level off the end of the runway, they would follow me on takeoff.
If the ground was higher than runway, they would stay there.
If the ground was below the runway, you could not see them.
