Im not here to complain just having issues and wanna see if anyone else is having same problems.
I cant get into the late war MAs, it says theres an error in uploading the terrains.
I cant select new gunsights for any plane
The ".sr" command is not working
".Score" is not working
And none of my settings for the map are being saved, like always having radar and spawn points selected so i can see them. The color of the countries arent even being saved!
I hope an update comes out soon or i might not be able to continue playing aces high!

Sounds like a complaint to me, or a whine.

State of fact. Thank you
Anyone have any ideas??
-
I have none of those issues nor any other. Could be your comp. Might want to go into the tech support section and post your specs.

Im having the same problems
-
So your .sr works, as well as score, and your settings are being saved??
-
Sounds like a firewall issue?
Also if your running vista, it may be a permission/administrator problem.

I am running vista.
How do i fix this??
-
The real best solution is to reinstall with the full version into a directory not in program files.

I had to un-install/re-install the game. So none of my settings were the same. But, after about 30 minutes resetting up my X-51, 12.5 seconds resetting up the spawn points/radar/base alt, and about 2 minutes setting up my views (during auto-climb) my views are almost set up. About 1.5 minutes setting up the GUI under options/preferences/GUI. The .sr works fine, and have not had a problem with the terrains. Never tried the .score, honestly didn't even know you could. I just right click on the roster (another 4.7 seconds) and choose score.
I hope an update comes soon, cause I will continue to play AH!!
And yes, I also have a problem with stuttering and frame rates, but am willing to live with what is there until I can afford a new video card and power supply.

I apologize for the use of punctuation/grammar/capitalization.

So i have to uninstall AH completely, delete all my files, and reinstall it in another folder in my program files??
Sorry im quiet computer idiotic!
-
You may be able to copy your settings onto your desktop if they are not already fubar. Other than that, yes, that's what I did and it ran just fine. Other than the frame rate and stutters. But, as I said, that is something I am willing to wait for a little while and see if it gets worked out on the HTC side, or if it's my side, then upgrade vc and ps.

Back, oh many months ago, I got tired of some of the problems I was having. I saved my settings, uninstalled AH, downloaded it to a file folder, then ran the install as Admin. placing it in its own folder "Games" which I made up in my C-drive. Everything ran better after that, even my frame rates improved.
Whatever Vista does to programs in its Programs file its nothing good for this game I can tell you that.
So try the fix. But remember! save your settings file separately first.

Joe.....HT said NOT IN PROGRAM FILES. Make a new folder....in GAMES. Download to the new folder and install AH there.
Also...if your old setting files worked you may be able to copy them and paste them into AH in the new folder.
Name the COPIED FOLDER Settings1...it won't let you have two folders the same name. Then paste settings1 into the new version in the new folder.
You then will see two settings folders. Settings....and Settings1. To get the game to look at the settings folder you just copied in rename the SETTINGS
Folder settings2....and rename the folder you just pasted in Settings1 to Settings.
If you are unsure of what to do....just follow HTs suggestion.

Yes, whatever you do, DO NOT INSTALL IN PROGRAM FILES. You can just install it in the default path which is c:\HiTech Creations\Aces High and that will work fine. See the post up in the news forum for more information.

Vista is one of those things you don't want to get it seems. Like swine flu. Windows 7 is supposed to fix all that. Hope that is true.

Now im getting this message....
Aces high can not be run out of its original folder. This is caused by an incorrect drag at the start menu.
