Title: Clipboard and loading issues??

I am having a problem with the offline part of the game, probably the online part as i haven't even gotten there yet.
When i go into the offline practise arena there aren't any bases to select to launch from, and if i try to launch then the game shuts down. Then when i quit the offline arena the main menu clipboard never comes back. The clipbaord also fails to come back if i go into the video settings. I think this is some kind of laoding problem.
This is pretty frustrating since I've spent most of the time i would have had to play trying to make it work, mostly trying to get my framerate up, but now even if i do that the game doesn't seem to want to work :mad: ... Any help?
I'm running Vista

Where was the game installed? Which folder?

A DXDIAG output would be helpful in troubleshooting this.
