just popped into my head a minute ago...will the corsair,zero, and n1k (not sure if it flew from carriers) be fitted with a arrestor hook too???
I wanna be able to fly the chog from the carrier too ya know.

Umm...there's this forum called "News".
Added tailhooks to all the carrier planes. The default key to raise/lower your
tailhook is <shift g>. If you have used the keymapper before, you will need to
manually map this function to a key. A new instrument light in the cockpit of
those planes indicates tailhook position.

FYI: the N1K2-J wasn't a carrier fighter. There were carrier trails conducted with some later versions of the Shiden iirc.

N1K3A, one proto made, only one ever converted for carrier use, iirc.

Yes as far as I know Nefari all AC in the game that were carrier based will have the hook added. I give HTC enough credit that they won't have "forgotten" the current planeset. (they not stooped ya know!!) lol though Pyro has not given us a list of aircraft that will be operable from the carriers. He's been very busy, lets hope nothing got missed in the mayhem +)
Guess we'll find out tomorro!!
