Title: Fixed my poor frame rate.

I fixed my problem. YAHOOOO!!!. I got a new video card GeForce 9400 (70.00 at best buy)and a power supply 450w ( 70.00 at besy buy). I'm getting a good 60frame rate now with all the details turned on.

i'm not sure if the power suplpy is needed since the card only needs a 300watt. But I bought a 4650 ATI card and it required a 400watt PS. the 4650 card gave me the white sceen death. Since I already had the PS in when I swapped out the 4650 for the GEForce 9400GT I just left well enough alone.

do you run full details? i get 70 FPS but with detail turned off =/

Yes I am runing full detail with 1024 and hi res package. it stays around 50's

If you run Vista, make sure you move your AH2 folder out of Program Files if it's in there.  Had my squaddie do that and his frame rate jumped up from 10's to 40's.
