Title: Ar234 and deck speed
Post by: Jigster on March 09, 2001, 06:51:00 PM
I've got a film to stick up later but GEEEWEEEZE! With both the outter wing panels knocked off the 234 will nearly pass it's structural limits in level flight.

I was chugging along at 450 indicated after accelerating for 1 min from take off with the RATO still attached, lit them up at 500 feet and shot past 500 mph level.

Some serious drag issues there  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Sounds like the planes in B-17 II..
slams the wings on the ground so those gets damaged and then can speed over 530mph. (even more, but after 530mph, plane gets dangerously nose heavy)
