I am running a 8600 Geforce 512 card in my pc it is working fine but would like to upgrade anyway. I am looking at a Geforce 9800 GT 1 GB GDDR3 PCI-E 2.0 will this work as well or beeter than the one im using now? :aok

DxDiag would assist us in figuring that one out. By the way, go with the 512MB version. BaldEagl has found the 1GB versions run slower than the 512MB version.

I can not remember system specs, when I get home I will post them.

It will assuming your Power Supply Unit is capable of powering it. An other thing to note is your better off getting the 512mb RAM version, the RAM is faster on these cards compared to to the 1GB RAM version and is still sufficient for this game.

Ok, I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3GHZ, 2 GB Ram with a 650 Watt power supply. :salute

What MB are you using? Need to know PCI or PCIe (1x or 2x) easiest is what make and model MB... What make and Model PSU.

I just upgrade a similar system from a 7600GT to a GTX285... wow what a difference in some of the games with heavier graphics.

That will quite obviously make a difference. That's like jumping from a Ford Model T to a Ferrari.
