Title: strange line in fire

EDIT: It only appears when i look at the fire in certain angles

I think the fire animations are perpendicular images and you are seeing one plane edge-on although maybe it should be invisible at that point.

If you look directly down at a fire from say 10K up (maybe more maybe less) depending on your graphical settings all you will see is this +

The closer you get or zoomed in to it the closer to a fire it will resemble.

you're just seeing a polygon edge-on.  This is not a bug.
