Title: Beer-view mirrors.
Post by: G0ALY on August 03, 2009, 08:27:56 PM
Howdy all! Me and six other guys are going for the annual bicycle ride this weekend. I wanted a mirror for my ballcap. I don’t wear a helmet… Even if those helmet mirrors did fit on my cap, well… they can look a little ‘silly‘…

I saw these “Beer-view mirrors” somewhere else on the internet, and had to make them for the trip. I just had to modify the pattern to fit the bill of a ballcap instead of a helmet.

It was easy. I used bicycle spokes from an old wheel and bottle caps that seem to just ‘appear’ on the garage floor.

Yeap, the bottle of powder is for the ride too! (This weekend is calling for 85 degrees & 80% humidity!…) We’ll do 30 miles Friday night, riding out 15 miles to a ‘rest stop’ and then back. Saturday we have a 65 mile ride planned.. About every 15 miles there is a small town and we will seek out the local watering hole for a short break. It’s a circular route, and we will end up back at home camp. Finishing the day with a big rib dinner at a small bar that serves dollar drafts!

Wish me luck!

OMG, Little Kings so ruled!  At least I think they did. I don't remember much from those days so well.  The rest of your cap collection is just dreck, well maybe not the Schlitz cap as I brings back fond memories of cheap-n-sleazy dating times.

+10 on the idea.
