:O that's a REALLY big gun, with REALLY high speed, and REALLY good armor. So you're going for a bigger, better Tiger I?
It's like a B-29 in tank form! It's got a bigger gun than an M1-A2 Abrahms (a 120mm smoothebore with HEAT, Sable, and canister shot capabilities). It would need to be perked like an Me-262.
All in all, I want one! +1 :aok

CrosFire you must understand that it came in to late to get into the game. And nothing could stop it except at close range or from the sides and back. It would be uber and cause problems with spawn camping. You can't argue with that. I would like to have that tank myself, but I can see that it would cause problems.
The guns on the older tanks would have trouble penetrating the armor.
-1, sorry, just too short a carrear, just too uber.

While its HE round would be great IIRC the AP round wasn't very good. High speed? At 23mph it would be the slowest tank we have. It does have good armor but the tiger and M4 would still give it a run for its money.

No it didn't. It started production in late 1943.

As I said before the M4 and tiger could hold its own against it. As for spawn camping it would be almost useless. The gun had a very slow reload time because the shell was in two parts.

The T34/85 we have started production about the same time yet we have it in game.
-
My, appologies I thought is stared in late 1944.
Sorry I was going to say "none of the older tanks can stop it. Just forgot to change it.
And I thought the T34/85 started in the middle of 1943.
And usually when someone spawn camps (based on my long and illustrious carrear of being sniped when I spawn) they are generally hidden in the trees, behind bushes, or houses, and well off in the distance, almost at the edge of their kill range.
I appologize.

This monster only carried 28 rounds of ammo, better have an M3 with supplies nearby.

A break thru tank would be fun. :aok I'd love to see the JS-2m.

The BR-471 sharp nosed AP round the Stalin used was able to penetrate the frontal armor of a Tiger tank from distances up to 1200 meters, while the sloped armor of the Panther was harder to penetrate and could only be done from distances up to around 700 meters. Soviet engineers figured out that blunt nose AP rounds had a better chance of penetrating the Panther's sloped armor but I don't know if they ever used these AP rounds.
As I said before the M4 and tiger could hold its own against it. As for spawn camping it would be almost useless. The gun had a very slow reload time because the shell was in two parts.
Both tanks would have to score one hit kills on the Stalin tank, if they missed their shots the Stalin would get them with its first shot. The 75mm on the M4 I think would have a tough time penetrating the armor of a Stalin, though I think the Firefly's 17 pounder would probably have an easier time of it. The HE round of the Stalin tank would be able to take out a Tiger or M4 because of the 'normalization' effect. The Stalin tank was capable of firing 2 rounds per minute.

Lets see on of them fight a P-47N at 30,000 ft. Does it still own? Thought not.

(Begins to druel) Put the JS-2 in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO, for the same reason some people don't want me to have my B-29. Once I get that then You can have your tank.

AA gun is a single 12.7 mm machine gun. You may be able to protect yourself with a 20mm on top... :)
Slow speed, slower reload, small ammo capacity, big target...I'm not sure how "uber" this would be.

I'll take my T34/76 :)

A single 12.7mm gun can still do some damage. ;)

In that case you won't mind if HT changes the armament on YOUR planes to a singel 12.7mm mg right?
(Nem) HT, some guy wants a downgrade on armament. You might wana talk to him.
But really, it can't do all tha much. Even the twin mounts on heavy bombers take some work to kill a fighter.

Honestly Nemisis, you would be surprised what I can do to a spit with a couple rounds from a B25H tail gun or an SBD,sometimes their wings pop right off in just a few rounds
-
Sometimes, and against some planes, But if you are in a gv, I would expect to see a lot of Il 2's (a few 12.7mm rounds aren't going to knock it down) and maby some Ju87s (probably attacking from high angle and likely high speed. Not sure about how it will deal with some .50cal hits though). I wouldn't really expect to see a spit attacking gv's.
