Title: Costume Skin Commission?
Post by: salun on August 06, 2009, 11:31:31 AM
I can't figure out exactly how to make skins. However I've been DIEING to have a costume skin down for a few aircraft for aces high.

Now this is NOT a request. Rather though its a business Arrangement. I'm going to pay anyone willing to do the skin(s) for the authors work.

In the past I've had art commissioned for my character Salun. So I am serious about this deal. Price is negotiable for the skins.

In a nutshell I'm looking for two(perhaps three) Aircraft skins made to look like a blue jay's feather patterns.

I'm big on ornithology and blue jays are my favorites. A small, yet incredibly aggressive avian. They will attack anything in there territory. From other birds to cats and small dogs. Something I've always admired and thought fighter pilots should have more a mentality of.

I can attest they will also attack humans.  I've been attacked by them before while working in my garden.  They've come so close I can feel the air pumping off their wings.  I have a rather funny and embarrasing story about that.

These are only able to be flown in offline mode.  ReDhaWk, Fencer51, Krusty, Greebo are a few of the many great skinners AH has. PM or ask on of them...  This should be moved to the Custom Sounds and Skins Forum.

Cool idea, but they will never see the light in any of the online arenas.

Yup, the best you could hope for to see online is nose art.  Skins need to be historic, nose art doesn't (but DOES need to be within resonable good taste).

I had one BnZ me last month.  :lol  I was doing a job on a balcony in a building in manhattan.  As i turned the corner i heard it yell at me but paid no attention and kept working.  So i'm near the ledge and i here it yell again, but this time it's really close. I feel a tap on the middle of my back, and as i turn around, i see it flying back to its perch. As it lands, it looks at me and yells again. I started laughing, and tell me partner that i was BnZ'd. Then I had to explain to him what  a BnZ is.
