I went into my Control Panel to delete the Beta program. I then saw I had three Aces High programs.
Aces High
Aces High II
Aces High Beta
I deleted Beta, but wanted to know which Aces high I should keep?
Thanks,
Mathis
EDIT: I just noticed the last time I used Aces High II was 5/29/09.... I'll still wait to delete one, after the advice of someone who knows :)

Wow, good question. Back up your Aces High directory then try removing, "Aces High." See what happens.

New one is under Aces High... old is under Aces High II on my machine.
Old one's folder installed under Program Files new one installs under Root.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzp. Wrong answer! The current version installs under C:\Hitech Creations\AcesHigh directory. The program file is NOT AcesHigh II it is AcesHigh.exe! DO NOT delete "Aces High" but delete Aces High II and the Beta.
All the Best...

Actually you never, ever want to delete programs. You want to uninstall them instead. Windows shares a lot of .dll files across all programs, and if you delete instead of uninstall you may delete an important file needed elsewhere. Your best bet is uninstall all Aces High programs that are located within program files, and leave the new Aces High that is located in the root.

:furious Just uninstalled Aces high II and it took both programs out. :furious
DL the game again now :(

Actually if the program is using a file that is shared by others... that file will be in another location and not removed by deleting the folder.
If you delete the folder it will not delete dlls placed elsewhere and any lines placed in the registry. To get clear of those you need a reg cleaner like registry mechanic.

If you fresh downloaded it should be in a seperate folder and not be affected by removing AcesHigh II.

Everything is good after fresh DL... I Noticed that there was no Settings or a Sounds folder in the "Aces High" folder.
