Hey all,
Just got my track IR5 arrive today, installed the latest drivers 5.0 Final, load up aces high and nothing happens, I have the track IR software running and It works when I move around there..Ive activated the tick box in view preferences and still nothing?
what Have I forgot? :noid

Load aces high after loading TrackIR - if your game crashes, I sometimes find TrackIR wont pick it up when I restart - so have to shut down trackir, restart it, then restart game

yep tried that, my green LED on the right deos not illuminate nor deos it with RoF, Im thinking it may be the software, as I followed installation instructions as per the manual

Yet it works outside of game *ie, in set up when you check to see what your changes have done etc, the heads move around and follow yours n all that?
Not sure why that would be, I didnt have to tell my trackir what game I was running etc that I can remember. Unfortunately, I dont have 5, just 4, so cant see what you are looking at.

I would not activate the tickbox in the game, that seems to mess with views somewhat.
After running the TrackIR software, I then minimize it, then I start up Aces High. The game has always 'seen' my trackir except once after a crash just as gpwurzel described. Restarting the game fixed it. Do perform a reboot of your system after installing the drivers just to make sure trackir is properly integrated into the system.

Are you using the "track clip pro" OR the Vector OR Dot...which ever one you're using make sure to select same in the profile...one LED on the TrackIr unit indicates incorrect selection..

Its track clip, thats on the right setting in the program, looked through homeboys artical and most of it is to set up the IR..Mine works fine with the software but no games work

but the only way to get it to work with all my games ( Not just AH2, as it effected them all) was using track ir4 drivers..pretty disapointed in nataural point at the moment.

Drop a "line" to Naturalpoint..they're very helpful.
Not too sure the "drivers" are different between TrackIr 5 and 4..??

The original 5.5 drivers had a bug that didn't allow games to recoignise the TIR. They suggested everyone use the 5.4 drivers until they got that fixed. Just last week they put up new 5.5 drivers on their site and they seem to be working. I'm still using the 5.4 drivers that do and have worked for me, but I plan to put the new drivers in over the weekend. Go to their site and download the newest drivers or pm me and I'll email you the 5.4 drivers that I use and know for certain work.

spoke to natural point, ealier and they said they are looking into it....just checked my forum post..and they have just posted a link to the newest version :D...nice them guys move fast ( they probley were aware before my post)

So the new version they just brought out that fixes the problem, has not fixed the problem..
