Title: Patches/updates/versions and white screens

I haven't downloaded the new version yet, and after reading the numerous threads on the bbs about the issues, I'm in two minds.
Is it worth downloading just now? or waiting till the new version has stabilized?
No engineering responses please, they will not be tolerated..... :)

Download now and see for yourself. It seems most players are able to play without much trouble.

Only a minority of players like myself had to put the joystick away.

For me it fixed all of the small problems I still had.
