Title: Outside looking in.

It appears, unless I am doing something wrong...that you can only get external views from certain planes.  For example I can get external views from the F4 I use in Jabo but I cannot get an external view from my La-7.

Can anyone help explain or correct what I am doing wrong?

You can get external views in bombers. You aren't doing anything wrong - you are only allowed to see what the fighter pilot could see, more or less, from the cockpit.

If you are getting an external view in the F4U, then something is wacky... or the last time you flew it was when HiTech had accidentally left the external view on after testing the nose art on the P51.
