can you turn off all backround programs in windows vista like u can in xp or xp pro?




2. we just came home from space camp in florida did everything from seaworld to gator hunting and shark fishing. have 1000 phot's 2 2gb cards 1 1gb and wife is in germany still. and would like to see them. i need a website to upload phot's so she can see them.

I think Photobucket allows 5GB.

if you mean background processes then no,you cant turn all off but you can get it down to around 30 or so :)

The least I run on my XPpro boxes is 9 and the least I have ran on Vista is 17 so no you cant get vista just as lean as XP but you can get it down pretty low
