Title: minor issue

When I log on to the game and the textures are still loading up in the tower.   The game turns off the advanced settings on me.   not a big things, but a bit annoying.

This is a feature to let the people with older machines have a chance at turning everything off when they log in.

I'm sure it will be adjusted somehow for you killer rig users in the near future.

Version 2.14 Patch 3 Changes

Made some optimizations and fixes to things that could cause some stutters on some machines.

Fixed an issue where plane skins and instument textures would appear fuzzy.

Gunsights now load immediately when you start flight.

Fixed another texture preloading bug.

Detailed graphics options will deselect if a system runs at an extremely low frame-rate for more than 10 seconds.  A message will display if this occurs.

Fixed a bug that caused the fuel gauge tank selector to not change color when you switch to manual.

There was talk of extending the time before it would kick in, but not sure if they have yet.

yep  I know why it's there .... having not had my morning coffee, I might have been a bit brief.     The issue is that when the texture load,  with V-sync off,    I have a 96 FPS looking out the tower with EVERYTHING on with 1024 HIRES.    Just make it is a bit longer before it " adjusts" the settings is all I'm asking.

How long is it taking from time you click Arena, to the time it switches. Right now that time is set for 30 secs on first entry. Can you time it for me on you watch?

HT,

   I could not replicate it tonight.     I'll time it everytime I log on for the next couple days to catch it when it does.      It doesn't happen everytime just once in a while

Getting the same thing, not a biggie, but annoying at times.  Turns off Details Terrain and Shadows.

With mine it's only on occasion, but it turns it off instantly.  The second I am in the arena the settings are off.  Unless I have really really bad timing. :)

    I didn't time it but it happened again when the Titanic tuesday map downloaded.

Seems it happens to me only when the 'Loading Terrain' screen takes a few seconds to finish.  It hangs at that screen for about 5 seconds after the loading is finished then 2-3 seconds after getting in the arena the Detailed Terrain is off.

However, if the Loading Screen finishes quickly and gets in the arena without hanging, it won't turn off the Details.

So it's within the 10 second range.
