Title: The 355th Fighter Group-The Steeple Morden Strafers

The Steeple Morden Strafers is born.  The The Steeple Morden Strafers is a historically based fighter escort/attack squadron formed to assist the 91st Bomber Groups (The Ragged Irregulars-C.O. ThndrEgg) high alt bomber missions.

If you are looking for a group of fun guys to fly with, whether it be bombing, strafing or sweeping. PM myself or thndregg to get further details.

A few Requirements...

-A mature and respectful attitude
-Patience- we are a fighter escort group after all, with other aspects of Aces High mixed in.
-Preferably over 18, but we can make exceptions based on attitude & actions.

Copr, you do realize that there are a number of 4th FG based squads already right?  Fencer has the 334th,  There are the Debden Eagles, and the 4th FG Eagles as well.

Might want to consider one of the 8th fighter groups that isn't represented already

I'd suggest the 359th FG as they aren't represented and were best known for their escort prowess.  Green noses.  Ray Wetmore their leading ace.  They flew Jugs early then B/C Ponies and finally D Ponies.

Anyone interested in flying an escort-fighter roll, give Coprhead a yell. Between the 355th FG and 91st BG, we aim to fly in an historically appropriate fashion, while still having fun. Copr is a patient guy, willing to take the time to train as well as lead. For those of us that are not real great in fighters (especially me), this helps a lot.

Still looking for anyone with a love-affair with the P47 Thunderbolt and P51 Mustang interested in Coprhead's fighter escort/attack group, the 355th. Contact him, or you can usually find me if interested and I will relay the message.
