For we have evolved to the apex of what we can possibly hope to achieve.

Nope, you are too early.  the world may now end when we have a Cakester version of the Golden double stuf Oreo in 100 calorie packs.  Gotta please the diet-crazed women , least they perish unfulfilled.

How do you even begin to eat that?  Even a knife cut would still be humongous

It's 11 lbs. I don't know for sure how you would eat it. I only know you wouldn't eat it alone.

That doesn't even look appealing to me and I love a good hamburger...just not one that looks like it is bigger than the state of Delaware.

I found it fascinating. Had 4 grilled hamburgers tonight with tomatoes fresh out of the garden. Also loaded with American cheese, bread and butter pickles, bbq sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Yummy, I miss it already.

Holy crap.  That's huge!

One year my son & his friends made these at his birthday party. Used white cake for each of the buns, chocolate cake for the burger (spring form pans), rice krispie as sesame seeds, sliced green gum-drop thingies for the pickles, red/yellow/white icing for ketchup/mustard/mayo.  Was a great deal of fun. They each made & ate their own cakes for dinner, then also for breakfast. I'm sure their moms appreciated me returning them loaded with sugar.

This one looks like it has green fruit roll-up as lettuce. That's a good idea too. :)

McDonalds is doing its part to help bring about the end of the world.   This is their latest effort:
