I dont know about other people that play but i rather hate to play on tuesdays. I wish HTC could do away with titanic tuesday, i dont even find it any fun. too much lag, too many hordes, and all around crappy gameplay.

I like Titanic Tuesday.
Lot of people on, plenty of furballs to get into.
If furballing isn't your thing, several squads like to take bases.
And for some squads, they even have their squad night on Tuesdays, since so many people are on. They host really fun missions.
Beats signing on and playing in an arena at 2pm with 132 people and the only people who you can find are m3s trying to sneak V bases.
I'd like to see 1 main arena all the time but... that's for another thread.

Seriously, I see some guys in TT every week, everytime complaining about hordes, lag and "nuthin but Spit 16's"
Why they don't join our friends in MW, with perhaps the best balanced planeset in AH, is a mystery to me...

dont get me wrong i love to furball but whenever im on on tuesdays my computer runs like crap. but it doesnt in the MA and unfortunately i do not have the money to go and build me a brand new computer right now. being only 24 and having a $1400 mortgage puts a strain on the finances a lil bit :frown: plus im getting married in less than 3 wks so money is completely run out lol

Because unless there's a small map, the action in MW is too spread out, and good luck finding fights there at off times.

I have yet to see a large map in MW.
Also, "off times" in MW are also off times in LW, with maybe 150-300 players on a large map only.

I experience none of the lag some people complain about on Tuesday and appreciate the increased chance of getting into a huge furball.

Hmmm, you may be right about that. Some of the "small" maps still have things spaced out pretty far apart, like a sector and a half between airfields. Anyway, the perception I always have in MW is "where is everyone?" When I do find the other players, they're usually in gv's trying to sneak a base. So much fun. :rolleyes: But I haven't tried MW in a while...maybe I'll stop in sometime just to see. ;)

Heya Anaxogoras, I switched from LW to MW about 3 months ago. Since then I have always been able to find a fight when I am on, and the teamwork (on ALL 3 teams I must say) is superb! Yeah, you still get some of the BS you get in LW, but that's because its GLOBAL BS... you will find it in just about any arena. From about midday into late evening, you will find an average of 25 - 30 players in MW. More at times, less at others. True... they may be only 2 or 3 bases that your team has the opportunity to find action at at any one time, but it allows the players that are on to work more as a team, and get to know one another better... and that goes across team lines too.
For me, it's easier to learn the flying style of certain opponents when there arent 100 of them to fly against. Yes, I fly against Nisr, AKAK, xtiger, AKYankee and others... but after awhile, you get to know them almost as well as your teammates and squaddies. You just know them from the viewpoint of an opponent... and from my standpoint, I respect them.
So yes... let me extend a personal invite to you from MW. Not saying its better than LW... its just different. Hope you drop in and see us.

Ok, make Hitech Creations go out of its way to do something for a specific person? Well in that case, I seem to have a tiny bit of lag in Mossie, P-39, and B-17, why don't we just get rid of all those too right?

You could do what I use to do on TT. Go to the TA you can never have to much training.

I like Titanic Tuesday... There's all the same game play as usual but I can be sure no squad mates will be locked out.
... As an aside, how many of you wake up and say "I think I'll log into LW Blue tonight?"

I miss Titanic Thursdays....when they forget to reset the arenas for a couple of days. :devil

I disagree with the OP and my vote would be to put all arenas back into one big one forever.

Titanic Tuesday is a god send to those of us who fly day time or in Europe. With the split arenas, during low numbers periods, the game is not fun because you cant find any action. Titanic tuesday is a big help with this problem. In fact I wish skuzzy would start it the first thing when he gets to work, Because early tuesday is very thin numbers.

every day that I play. blue is our squads default arena..
I also rarely ever play on tuesdays.

FOR THE LOVE OF MIKE KEEP TITANIC TUESDAY!!!!!! It allows you to from multiple missions, at the same time, both being LARGE missions. You are just mad that you team gets SWAMPED with newbs and numbers here don't make up for skill nearly enough.

Meh...I've had mixed emotions about "Terrible" Tuesdays (what a squaddie of mine calls it) I mean sometimes those massive GV battes get me all :x but some times I too suffer from lag. I have learned to check out MW on tuesdays or have squad training in the DA since most of my squad has the same mixed feelings about TT

I dunno, the best missions I have been on had fairly low numbers, but got the job done right. Namely 18Whisky's, DDGhost's, when he isn't in territory mode, and Karaya's Candy Mountain Mishuns. I never really got into the giant NOE base take missions where you are called Goon! or 110's! I'd much rather have a name.
