Title: Spit V prob
Post by: Thzone on February 29, 2000, 11:41:00 PM
Ok, I get on the RWY in the new Spit to try it out, throttle up, get halfway down and something goes snap.  I think, hmmm, musta broke the landing gear with too much rudder input.  Next try, snap again, even with a light touch on the rudder.  Try throttling up slow and snap.  Tried about 10 times, all with the same result. Anyone else have this problem?
Zone out

(edit: works fine with auto takeoff)
(Anyone seen this thing turn? all I can say is WOW)

Is the prop hitting the ground?  Try holding the tail down and lifting off from the 3-point attitude.
