How about we take the kayak out in Hurricane Bill's 12 foot swells? Seemed like a good idea for this guy...
This kayak was quite a distance out, I was at the limit of my 560mm lens.

In my part of the world we wait for cyclone season every year just to get out in the water.

My family took a vacation to the Jersey shore (Wildwood) every August when I was a kid. The best body boarding I ever had was immediately before and after Hurricane Bob went past. Was the first time I saw actual surf boarders out there, too. So that guy probably knows what he's doing.
