Title: setting v-sync on 3870
Post by: swoose on August 24, 2009, 09:44:37 AM
Does anyone know the setting for forcing  v-sync on? I am using the catalyst software that came with the card to adjust settings. I am having a serious rubber bullet problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to catalyst control panel / 3D settings / All settings and vsync - force always on. Then make sure you also enable triple buffering because you might get a framerate hit otherwise.

Ditch the Catalyst software and install Ray Adams ATI Tray Tools instead!  You will be much better off and can select everything you need (including overclocking and fan speed from within it).  I run Crossfire mode dual 3870's since they were first introduced.

All the Best...
