I was working on my sunburn today at point pleasant beach today and a b24 flew over at about 1k above us! The engines sounded awesome. About 20 mins later a p51dmustang did a low 300ft flyby along the coast line which almost made me pee my pants! :x

He will never get him. The B-24 made it back with 3 kills and 2 FH down to it credit.

ZooZoo its nice to see that kind of thing , where I work we sometimes see the war birds from Chino , Ca. fly over like P-38's , P-51's , etc .
always makes me want to be up in them and of course I drool incessantly . And when as a youngster in Arizona growing up I saw tons of B-17's and B-26's doing slurry drops on fires in the desert . Enjoy them when you see them bud.
Nutte :salute

Something must have been going on in Jersey today. I live in Mt. Laurel ( about an hour from Point Pleasant ) cutting the grass when a group of T-6 Texans flew over my house in formation.
