Title: P-47 at Flying Heritage Collection
Post by: Wedge1126 on August 24, 2009, 11:25:31 PM: Over the weekend I visited the Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field to see them fly their P-51 and P-47. Unfortunately, the P-51 had engine trouble and didn't fly. I think the P-47 just wanted more room on stage. :)
I uploaded a gallery of about 90 pics that I think you guys will like. Oh, and forgive the dust on my lens. :frown:

Are they going to do the gun bays and guns at some point? Just doesn't look right with out those 8 50s pointed out the wings. Considering the detail of the restorations for Allen, I'd have thought they'd be there.

Can't wait to see his B17E fly.

When I saw it, the bays were complete, minus the guns. Who knows what they will do there.
