...gives me dejavu on a huge scale.

Restoring boats is a major undertaking, especially something of this scale. It took me, my brothers, and dad 2-3 months of weekends and after work just to get a lil 19ft drag boat hull repaired and painted, similar in construction, as far as the laminated wood and epoxy resin, but the scale of the job is not comparable.
