I want to be able to ram my zeke against a ship and make considerable damage.

Imagine the dweebery.

If implemented, it should add say 100 deaths to your K/D status. That'll discourage those that care about K/D, but the dweebs never do.

I don't really care, as I fly LW only  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif).

Make it a perk that you can fly an appropriate kamikaze plane(Zeke, Judy etc) that will cause damage when it impacts a ground object or ship.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

"Penelize" kamikaze by requiring a "cool down" time of xx minutes before the pilot can replane.

I hope plane contact with ships will cause damage and I hope kamikaze could be used a bit, but some sort of "penalty" should apply to stop the over and over kamikaze pilot.

If a dude want to invest the time to fly all the way to a ship so that he can ram it, let him.  If he wants to do it again, he still has to fly all the way to the CV and make it through the defending fighters and ack.

It takes less time to fly one way and kamikaze than it does to fly one way, make a successful torp or bomb drop, return to base and then takeoff again to hit the same ship.

In one o them other sims, the auger buff was an often used tactic.  Fly 51 lo alt to enemy base drop eggs just as u ram a fuel tank.  Reup, repeat until base so weak as to be useless.

I have no probs with adding Kamikaze style attacks, so long as there is a penalty or deterrent to using it.  Perhaps have each player limited to one kamikaze aircraft a day, with no carrying over unused AC.

I think Kamikaze would be a great addition, just make sure that the fleet defences are strong enough to keep single fighters from getting through.  If you wanted to do a good kamikaze attack, you'd need to organize it, and have several planes diving in at the same time...some would get tore up, and some would make it through to target.

Only problem with the Ohka is a decent pilot would probably be able to never miss...
