Ed Kennedy is dead.
-
I'm sure Mary Joe is waitin for him on the other side, to scratch his corrupt eyes out!!! He should have had the name Kopekny branded to his forehead, so everyone could see him for what he really is!!!
Good riddance, to a spoiled richboy, living on the glory of his brothers!!!

JFK = across-the-board tax-cutting anti-comm (at least 'til BoP) :aok
Ted = skumbag :mad:

See Rule #X
(Thought I'd save you the trouble)

Is it bad that at 25 I'm already at the point where I'd get hit by a Rule#X whenever just about any politician finally dies?
I'm sorry for his family, and pretty excited for many others'.

:salute
-
Have you considered he is not going to the same place as Mary Joe?

:(

I won the death Pool for the first time this week!
Thx Kennedy for the $346.00. :rock

He's dead....The End.
I am thinking to take a news sabbatical for about a week. Jackson was bad enough.

Thank you for your service, and for your efforts towards world peace; especially your efforts against Apartheid and your role in the arms control negotiations with the Soviets.
Rest in peace Edward Moore Kennedy.

Perdon, but any treaty that only counts launchers (the Soviets used cold launch - we never had good counts on their missiles) smacks of soft-heartedness pwn'ed.
SALT... baaah.

Nah, I'm 37 and I've been the exact same way for a long long long time. I have practically no respect for all but a precious very few of the political elite in DC.
bon voyage, Teddy. Hope you like it hot.

Gone to the perpetual BBQ.

Got nothing nice to say about this individual. Had no respect for him when he was alive and is dying didn't raise his status a bit AFAIAC. IMO the world is a better place for his having left it, not for his having been here. I just hope Massachusetts can find someone better to take his place. That may be asking too much though.
-
If only he'd driven an LVT back in the day. :aok

While the news media kept emphasizing that doctors could operate on his tumor, I said he'd be dead within a year or so. Brain tumors seem to kill very quickly. If you get one, max out your credit cards and go on vacation. There's almost zero use in treating it.

Unless you are http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lance_Armstrong .
(Edited to avoid a rule 13.)

Let me check...nope, my eyes are still dry.

The worst part of this is going to be the media orgasm that's going to happen as they try to elevate Teddy to liberal saint hood... The upside is that maybe, just maybe, we'll stop hearing every frickin detail of Michael Jackson's life...
Teddy was the very epitome of the elitist "I know what's best for everyone else, but rules don't apply to me" attitude that plagues our country.
My heart goes out to his family, who I am sure loved him... But I can't say that I regret his passing.

I'm surprised to not see Skuzzy come wading into this thread wielding a ban stick in each hand.

You're assuming it's the same kind of brain cancer. Technically, Armstrong had testicular cancer which spread to his brain. There is a world of difference.

no truer words were ever spoken. I doubt there is anyone on the home team able to persuade the man bringing down the judgement on him either. No worries , I'm sure his brothers and him will all have adjoining rooms.

There still seems to be massive amounts of confusion about the following posting rule.
"4- Flamebaiting, flaming, being abusing, being disrepectful, trolling, spamming or posting to incite or annoy is not allowed. If you cannot make a positive contribution to the thread, then just stay out of it."
I highlighted the most pertinent portion as it seems to be elluding most of you. I guess we will have to play hardball and boot people off the board who simply refuse to get it.
