Pardon me?
D0-335? With a total of 13 produced?
He-162? Just under 200 produced, perhaps as few as 120 in service?
He-219? Right around 270 produced?
Me-163? About 370 produced?
I seem to have forgotten, what was the "knock" on the F4U-1C? Please explain again. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
-
Maybe percentage of kills in MA ?
You better ask it from HT or Pyro.
Maybe if you continue whining they lower the points needed to take C-Hog to 6 or maybe even 4.
Toad if you think those other perk-planes do you think their price/capabilities are in par with C-Hog? Think about that.

BTW I would like to see more Twins in AH, Me-410 would be nice and it also fits nicely in our late-war planeset.

Please refer to Karnaks question, F4U is of no interest here.

Toad I see you didn't answer my question...
And yes, You REALLY should ask HTC why did they perk C-Hog. Asking things like that from players looks kinda stupid. imo of course. Now go continue your whining to some other thread please.
-
Yeah, Toad! This thread is for LW whiners only! Don't go blinding them with facts either - that just isn't fighting fair!
Away with ya!

-----
"Bring the Stuka to Aces High!"
-
My apologies, Staga.
I see you answered the question totally and correctly. The only argument EVER made against the -1C was total number of kills per tour. <cough> Not talking perk here, talking including it in the simulation at all.
I guess I'm incorrect in remembering all the arguments made about how the -1C was too small a percentage of the F4U production run to be included and, most recently, "chogs- with their tremendous service record in the war and all....."
I must have imagined all those numerous posts. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
BTW, if you'll check the BBS records, you'll see I was "for" introducing the D9 unperked as well as the Me-262 unperked. I'm one of the original "fly what you want to fly" guys.
..and you can also check the tour stats to see how long it's been since I even flew a -1C. I think it was about July 2000. Haven't flown any "perk" fighter yet, in fact.
I don't care what they put in the game and PARTICULARLY I don't care at all what the other guy chooses to fly. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
I just find some things really hilarious. This is one of them. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Now, I'll leave this thread as you wish.
Just wanted to point out the comparison in production numbers of these particular aircraft with their "tremendous service record in the war and all". Nice that they are all considered "acceptable" and the USN one isn't. That's quite fair, don't you think? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Oh, btw... on topic:
Stuka.

So our little Home-Commie stopped by to say Hi also ?
<J/K>
-
I don't look colors of the plane I took up, I just take one where I can have some fun.
Lately I've fly with P-51 and P47 D-25 (dam two kills and assist and still more than 2500rounds left when I had to land 'cause lack of fuel (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)).
Today I took off with C-Hog thought I found only one P-38 but what a flash did that plane made with hundred of 20mm rounds inside of it.
What I'm getting tired is this "LuftWhiener" stuff with whining 'cause perked C-Hog. Some of you guys sure are good in that whining part but its not amusing anymore...

So our little Home-Commie stopped by to say Hi also ?
<J/K>
You talking to me?
And what is a Home-Commie?
-
Yep Dowding.
Thought I guess I'm starting to call you a "Wannabe-Commie" (You liked La's didn't you?).
For me it looks like some of you peole like to call people who like to fly german planes a "LuftWhieners" or "Luft-waffles".
So is there any reason why shouldn't I call ppl who fly russian planes as a "Home-Commie" or "WannabeCommie" ?
After all you did type "Yeah, Toad! This thread is for LW whiners only!" earlier in this thread so it looks like I'm too one of those "LW Whiners". Now I need to have a good names for ppl who fly American- or British planes. Oh I shouldn't forget ppl who like Japanese planes too.
Clear enough ?
-
Wait a minute. If I'm a wannabe-communist, aren't you a wannabe-Nazi?
-
If you look little upper in this same thread you'll see I've been flying American steel lately so maybe "Wannabe-RedNeck or HillBilly" is closer the truth would you say ?
-
Not really. Your justification (if you can call it that) for calling me a 'wannabe-commie' was that I like VVS planes. It follows that you are a 'wannabe-Nazi' for liking LW planes.
In actual fact, your point is utterly inane. You attribute a political orientation to flying a particular plane - something which those that fly LW strongly dislike. Yet it is quite alright for you to do it.
In terms of the political spectrum, communism is to the left-wing what Nazism is to the right-wing. It seems fine to call someone a 'commie' yet quite unacceptable to call someone a Nazi ('wannabe' or otherwise).

He 162 could be nice plane.

Dowding I just checked my stats:
Kills in Axis planes in this tour 20
Kills in Allies planes this tour 36
(12 with La-7 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif))
Point I'm trying to bring up is it might be better if people quit calling others with names like "LW-Whiener" etc. because that's a game others can play too with ugly results.

About numbers of planes produced: some keep forgetting that 100 planes produced in Germany 1944 could not be the same as 100 planes produced in US 1944.
And even those German planes would sit on the ground because of lack of pilots and fuel.
Maybe you should think of relation of planes produced vs planes operational ?
-
Glunz is right.Ive read accounts of horrendous problems with logistics in the later stages of WW2.Apparently a dozen sets of wings would arrive from one factory and the other parts didnt arrive at all. Most destroyed by heavy allied ground attacks on transport trains etc.
What we were refering to with the production numbers was the simple matter of if they were rare as rocking horse toejam in the war they 'should' be rare in this game.
You dont agree with that toad/dowding?
so when we used it as a reason for a perk (on top of the fact 25% of kills were by one aircraft) you said it didnt matter.Well NOW you are trying to claim it does matter and try to use the same reason to argue against adding rare planes.
I think the rarer in WW2 the rarer in AH.
if it didnt see action dont add it.
I play AH because i like WW2 planes not the korean war planes like the super late P51 models.what is it you allied flyers are asking for now? the P51H to Z ? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) lol use what ya had IN ww2 please. If we start asking for planes that DIDNT see action but were designed to prototype stage you will see LW beating everything hands down.Secret weapons was germanys forte and only the fact they had no fuel etc stopped them.HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT THEY WERE DEVELOPING? i shudder to think what would have happened if they kept us from overunning them and had the chance to build those machines in numbers.
I didnt vote for the do 335 because it didnt see any action.Although there are references to special forces using them for evaluation flights.(whether these were in combat is not clear)

I think it's quite sad that you went through every recent topic I'd posted to and made some snide remark.
Good form. But what exactly is your problem?
And BTW, I didn't see any remark that was 'out of order' here. My first point about the LWhiners might just have tongue in cheek, hence the ' (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)'. But Staga didn't see it that way.
Also, if someone calls me a 'home-commie' (I still haven't a clue what that means) I'm not going to let it pass.
In that discussion on Rudel and the Stuka, you claim I started the whole war crimes discussion - I suggest you read it from top to bottom. Not only will you find it wasn't me who started it, but I wasn't the only one contributing.

A Me-163 would be nice if used as Spooky said.
system: a new smell has appeared
system: extremely volitile and reactive fuel in cockpit
system: you are being dissolved
Bring it on! HQ only. Maybe only so many are allowed up at once. (a cheap perk would encourage smart use)
