~The Guardians~ is a newly formed squad (2 months old) which specializes in bombing. Our main frames are the B17, B24, and the Lancaster. We bomb anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000ft depending on the target, etc.
TRAINING
Every recruit WILL receive training wheather they're novice or pro (lesson's will vary on player's experience), and will learn basic and advanced formations as well as basic dogfighting maneuvers. I do not care how old you are, I just ask that you to take this seriously. We only fly training missions (don't worry its not boring) to keep our skills in top-shape and to educate all the "newbies". This will be done every Monday at 7:00 CENTRAL, which is our annual training session. These exercises last between 15 to 30 minutes.
SQUAD MEETS/ TIMES
Our squadron meetings/nights will take place on Mondays, and Thursdays at 7:00pm CENTRAL. Our webpage is http://theguardians-aceshigh.webs.com/

just to let everybody know, this squad isnt strictly bombers. there is also a fighter wing. every other saturday (ill make a schedule on the squad site) there will be a 30 min. training session at 10:00 AM, MOUNTAIN TIME, to teach basic and advanced fighter combat manuvers. Yes, im zinc, and no, im not a n00b. i just havent played in a while. i know a lot of good tactics, since my grandfather was a Marine Corps fighter pilot durring WWII. he flew an F4-U, mainly in support of the ground troops, but he got 2 kills, so i learned a lot.
anyways, our role in the fighter wing is to escort the bombers, AT ALL TIMES. This means that you cant chase an enemy that is flying away from our bomber formations. If you see a bomber in trouble, go help him out. DO NOT rely on the bomber's gunners to take out the enemy fighter. our prefered ride will probably be the F4-U, due to its good armor, good manuverability, and outstanding dive capabilities. im looking for fighter pilots with atleast 15 kills in the current tour (115). i didnt have that many, since i wasnt on for a while, but i had over 70 in tour 114.
I expect my fighter pilots to follow orders, and STICK WITH THE BOMBERS!!!!! our motto is "Semper Fi, to the Bombers".

Since your in the squad you would know that there ISN'T a fighter wing YET. Shifty, our CO says when we get more people, so if you guys want a figher wing then join the squadron. We aren't so much a bomber squadron as to ban using fighers. I regularly fly escort. Our main rides are the P-51D, P-47N, and other long range fighters. Occasionally when opperating close to our bases, I will use an La-7 or a Ta-152. But Mour motto IS "Semper Fi" you phrased that well shifty.

oops, well, i hope that motivates you guys to join, cuz this could be a really awesome squad. by the way, the 15 kill requirement, it has to be 15 kills against fighters, in a fighter. so gv, bomber, and gunner kills dont count. sorry, just gotta make sure your a good dogfighter.

That wasn't a personal attack. I would have said that to my CO too. (LOL, like CO2). And no, but I do belive you have posted in several threads where I stated my machine was busted. I can't in all good concince, expect you to remember, but I wanted to you to know how I felt.

Something is not right here. I'm gonna get to the bottom of this but it could take a couple of weeks. :)

Well yes, but I think we should get one here two, for ease of acces for those on the BB already. Also, I am more familar with how this one is set up, so it would be easier to use. However, I can't expect our CO to get one upon my request.

TheAce you missed our mini buff-raid yesterday :P got us some lancs to 15K,then we we got over the tgt I dove in on a cv,sunk a destroyer with half my eggs,and missed the cv AGAIN on my 2nd pass :noid Weoulda been nice if there was more than 3 of us
