Title: Great job HTC
Post by: Spikes on August 29, 2009, 10:37:04 PM
Need a positive thread here!

Great job on all the patches, my gameplay FPS and studder wise has gone away completely, I can play detailed mode like I could w/o detail on!

Be happy to fix it, but I need a few simple questions answered.

1. Does it do it on your first flight after starting AH.
2. Does it do it on your first flight both on and off line.
3. If it does not do it on your first flight, what was the condition that terminated the previous sortie?
4. Are you using any program that maps JS inputs to Key strokes?

1. Does it do it on your first flight after starting AH. Nope. at all flights
2. Does it do it on your first flight both on and off line. Nope, at all flights
3. If it does not do it on your first flight, what was the condition that terminated the previous sortie?  Not sure what you mean
4. Are you using any program that maps JS inputs to Key strokes? do you mean if i did any set up outside of the game?  If yes, then no.

Dosen't matter how i end up in the tower.  will still get the same result when i am back on the runway.

The game just gets better for me with each patch. I havent the frame rate to run the shadows but the graphics are such an improvement i feel no matter I havent got the final cherry on the cake.

No stutters

No freezing

Excellent views :D :aok

oakrange: I need you to run a test for me, can you rename your settings folder then test again and see if the shooting stops?

My only guess is that some how the shooting function is mapped to something strange. By renaming the settings folder it will be as if you are on a clean installation. If after the rename all works well, go back and delete the new settings folder, then name the old file back.

Just looked at pilot stats page so I could see how my 109G-2 foray was doing against the 'ole F6F standby- to my delight I saw that there was a "sorties" column added. Great fun for a stats geek like myself!  :aok

I've had the same issue, it's a bug that starts up on your first sortie, and will keep going until you completly restart the game (exit to windows). It's an on again, off again thing though...

Saitek Aviator. Also had the problem with my Cyborg Evo Force Pro.

Do you have a powered hub? Most issues with controllers seem to be remedied by using a powered hub.

Yup, my Cyborg needed external power too, but the Aviator is in a powered hub. Like I said, it's an on again off again thing that's easily fixed by exiting to windows and reloading.
