B-25C/D "Chatter Box" of the 90th BS 3rd BG, piloted by Captain Robert Chatt.
During the Battle of the Bismarck Sea, Chatt scored bomb hits on the Japanese Destroyer Arashio. The damaged Arashio veered starboard and rammed Naval Supply ship Nojima. By the next moring both ships had sunk.

Very nice sir!

Nice job, only issue I can see is the wording for Chatterbox looks to be a little dark to be white based off the photo.

That crossed my mind as well. This picture has it real bright. I also have a profile that shows the wording as white.

Excellent white she is then. :aok Also I think this your first skin if I am not mistaken? Another great first skin for starters if so.

I just got Jock Henebry's book on the 3rd Attack Group in the mail yesterday. Talk about timing :)
There are a couple of photos of "Chatter Box" that make the lettering look gray or yellow. I'll get the scanner going tomorrow.

Thanks! This will be my second skin. The first is sitting in rotation. :)

Would love to see them. :)

Good work sir.
Could any body do the B-25 name "Patches"? That will be a long task.

Beautiful looking skin, Cactus. Nice finish and detailing, great job on the faded paint.
One thing I noticed - the darker green of the nose should angle back and extend into the side mounted 50s according to the photo. "Chatter Box" seems to be in a thicker font also.
-
that is one mean looking plane.
I know nothing about skinning, but is there anyway you can make the teeth look...sharper? they're a bit pixellated.

I bet there is still some dirt on it, though :D
WTG if this is your first go at skinning. :aok

I have this plane in a profile that I did not know until I was looking for something else in this DVD book

can't save the image directly so the colour is from a print out. It gives a little bit of history about the aircraft as well as the signature of the commanding officer of that unit.

That's the same ebook I have and the same profile I mentioned earlier. Thanks for the effort though. :)
I ended up taking a screenshot of the .pdf to save the image.
