My idea is, only the zone bases on big maps should be importand to reset the map, that means if one country lost his last zone base the country with the most zone bases win.
I m sure that would rise the fun because the hole country would have one direction, and alot of hard fights we will have on the way to the zone bases.
Alot fun for everyone I'm sure, more important targets for our bomber guys, and alot more fun for our gv guys. and the fighter pilots doesn't need to search alot for a nice fight.
Maybe it needs a try.

This is a horrible idea.
Why? Because it's just like the old war-win system, with the sole difference being only zone bases are counting for reset.
But the end result will be the same - 2 countries ganging upon the 3rd (smaller) one, in the race for reset.
And if you rember those days... in the last few months before the system was changed to the one we have today, it was the Knights wich usually had to endure the full brunt of Rook & Bish forces day after day ;)

ok this part is surly chang able, we can hold ouer war-win system but the war ends with the last zone base, so its the same like now with the diverce that we get more and harder fights on the way to the zone bases.
sure this system works only for big maps.
i never had a problem with the old days it was always fun to fight against the big enemy al arount.....it was bit like the Luftwaffe 44 ;)

How about all the zone bases for both of the other countries and still have 100% of your zone bases? This is just a quick thought on Luche's comment, but keeping the emphasis on zone bases. I'm not sure it would bring a significant change to how things happen now, but it could possibly concentrate the fights a bit more. This would also fit nicely with an improved strat system for zones and zone bases.

HQ is the Zone Base for a few.

Capturing the HQ for both other countries on the small maps would most likely be roughly equivalent to the win conditions now. While not impossible, it's not likely that one country could capture and hold the HQ (would need a town associated with it!) without taking a large percentage of the country on the way there. Fields surrounding a HQ (and zone bases on larger maps) would still be important for their location and ability to attack an important target, but not in their contribution to winning the war. Combine this with the wish to create your own small bases, and you would really have a dynamic map going. A few large / medium airfields for buffs, small fighter strips popping up and being totally demolished. A lot of details to be worked out, but it would certainly bring a whole new dimension to the game.

Well, how's about this...
No map resets. No more "We gotta win teh warz and get the perkies". Keep the same map up all week and HTC change them Monday morning when they get to work. Isn't anyone else tired of the toolshedders and skawdz that do nothing but capture undefended bases and beat their chests "we are teh l33t base-caputre skwad and always in teh warz for our team."

perkys are for me totaly unimportment, what i want is that we get alot more nice fights. yyou doesnt want the same?
i do not knew what you want but i gues you always fly in the DA.
We can improfe the game play we have now with out making the MA to a secound DA.
and i say again this system will only work well for a big map not for a small one. i would like it too, but the most surly not.

Just as Hitech said before, base captures are there to encourage fights. Capturing a base just to capture it is, in my opinion, a waste. I think what we need more than a new way to reset a map is to have a new way to reset people's minds so they want to fight instead of wanting to just grab as much land as they can before someone ups to offer some resistance.

you cant reset the mind of the people, people who want to only fight are in the DA. The most people sems to forget that landgrabing is fighting sometimes more and somtims less. now we need to change something so that landgrabing bekomms always a big fight so everyone is lucky.
For example my dream. The map is full of many towns an villages, all are capturable but not complet only stepp by stepp. if a country lost his most towns it will lose (same conditions like now). Filds are unimportant for that but capturable.
i dream i drive my tiger in some of that citys to fight the enemy which hold every ston of his town, im suportet by my contryman with stukas and the fighter will fly a cap for the ground war.....schort a big fight for everyone.
