Please look at this. Do I have 1 gig of vid memory? If so then why does the game never use
more than 160 meg? My frame rate stays around 20 - 30.

Also if I were to upgrade my vid driver. Where would i get the update?

This is a link to the Intel 4 series chipset family. you can get your driver updates here.
It has a section on how to improve gaming, and on memory usage. I checked it out and
learned a few things myself.. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelgm45/ (http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelgm45/)

And so I don't get the blame for messing up your computer, go to the manufaturer's web sight
for your computer first, and see what updates they have. Be sure to read and most importanly,
understand the documentaion/desriciption for the drivers. Copy the info off the ID tag, serial #, model #,
revision # ect. this will ensure you get the correct drivers for your your computer.
Also, this isn't the correct board to post this in.. would hardly call this a bug. It'll be moved in the morning..
Oh wait !! It is morning.. Hope all this helps

Intel video chips do not have any dedicated video RAM. They use system RAM. If your computer has 2GB of RAM, then (in your case), 1GB of that system RAM is used for video leaving 1GB of RAM for everything else.
Even if you could fill the "video RAM", the video chip does not have the processing power to handle it.
Intel video chips are strictly a marketing tool. They are cheap solutions which help manufacturers make money.
