Been listening to a lot of this lately....
Granted, I've been listening to bands like Sleep, Acid King, Kyuss and The Melvins for a long long time....
This is Al Cisneros and Chris Hakius (both fromSleep/Asbestos Death).. Chris left the band but the new drummer follows in his footsteps..
While I've done projects like this before, the fact that this is just a bass guitar and drums is sweet incredible.. This stuff just absolutely floors me....
It really starts to pick-up around 3:50... This the best live recording(sound wise) that I could find.. This was taken at their show in Jerusalem which lasted a little
over 5 hours :)

Seriously? No one's heard of these guys?? :huh

Maybe if the bass was played faster. Too much of one thing bores me though.

Right on man.. Different strokes for different folks...
There's a lot of subtle variation there, guess you just didn't listen hard enough..

You need to see these guys 'live' to get it, video footage doesn't do it justice and the CD's, whilst sounding great, don't have the 'feel' of the live show.
Bassist, Al, is a total space cadet, teaches chess for a living, brilliant!
