I actually just got done dropping my ord when I noticed him traveling the same relative direction so I just merged over towards him till I was close enough to open fire with my gun batteries errr gunners I mean.

Post by: Fulmar on September 17, 2009, 08:06:13 PM: I've done it a couple times before, but never at 15K+ like you did. Mine were either 5-10k fights because they were quick sorties, generally bombing fleets or me diving down is say B-26's on some B17/B24's.

Post by: Kurtank on October 16, 2009, 10:13:50 PM: Sorry for bumping an old thread, but a while back me and the rest of the 357th were dickin' around in the DA, and we had done a few low level knife fights in the trench, so the remaining 6 of us decided to use the bomber feilds for a bomber v bomber fight. It was good fun indeed. 3 boxes versus 3 boxes, with all the ack you could want. Though we didn't WANT any. It was great fun, was hard trying to maneuver the damn things without losing your drones. But the initial head on pass was just crazy fun. After that it was like a horizontal turn fight, felt like we were using boxes of flying destroyers.

Was great fun, would do again. +1

Actually a long time ago, that happened. I dont have the film, but there were about 5-6 on 4-5 bombers. All with drones, and we came out ok. Dont have that film anymore. But was a nice fight for a few mins. There were no escort though. Jsut buffs.
