Title: P-38 fuel management question
Post by: ZOSO on January 24, 2001, 10:53:00 AM
"Citabria's guide to the P-38L" suggests burning up the main tanks before the aux tanks.  Does this improve performance at all?

If you use up your wing tanks first your roll rate supposedly improves.

leave it on auto

fuel manegment in the p38 is fubar so dont bother with it.

should be two separate fuel selectors for each side and a cross feed selector.

in ah its not possible because wichever tank you select manually will fuel both engines no matter which side the tank is on.
