Not saying Aceshigh did it or anything. I'm not blaming you guys at HTC anyway but, i was reading the forums and if i remember correctly my computer restarted by its self i didn't worry about it i just went into the living room came back in like 20mins and my computer was infested with keloggers and virus trying to steal my mothers files. Just wondering if it's a bug or its on this website. I hope it's not on here

do you have a firewall also? was it on? I have never had a virus problem from within ah, however sometimes there's a link to mediafire. and I kindda suspect that mediafire, has lots of adware. I have wot addon installed on firefox and it blocks lots of pop ups from them.

Sure it wasn't Mom trying to find out where you go?

It's not on here and it is not via the game. Think about it. If it was either, then we would be getting nailed with hundreds of complaints a day about it.

You probably had a backdoor trojan already installed on your system...if your computer restarted by itself that tells me it was triggered by a file on your system...probably got connected to a botnet. Viruses don't "steal" files...they destroy files. Betting your system was compromised not too long ago.

I was also uploading a film to meadafire... forgot about that.

Look, there are a million ways to get infected with a Windows virus these days. Mediafire is one way, but not being up to date with patches for:
- Windows
- Your Browser
- Your Email Program
- The Flash plug-in
- Quicktime/iTunes
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
is another good way.
Infections have made their way into many high-profile games, programs, drivers, and even hardware (when storage is involved), so it's not unreasonable to make sure AH isn't infected. But I'm pretty sure we'd be seeing a million posts if it really was.

Trojans are not fun, you need the best anti-viruses for them if they are good enough, and even then it may not be enough. Get a Strong anti-virus, Kaspersky possibly (it is my favorite), run several scans, update your computer regularly, just the stuff everyone has said. Btw, if something is trying to access your files, you have spyware or are being phished.
