As the title says. I haven't thought about the particulars yet. This may be relatively low on the to-do list, but it should be easy enough to implement.
The reason I ask: we do have a few deaf pilots out there in the virtual skies. While nothing can give them the sound of an enemy behind them firing guns or Vox communication, this is one thing we CAN give them.

As long as there is an enable/disable feature for it.

Whenever I play with my headset off I lose feel for the aircraft.
I can imagine this is what they deal with all the time. Nice idea!

Yes this is my thought as well. Since most of us get enough warning from the audio, we would probably keep it off. I'm pretty sure some people would benefit from it though - whether from being deaf, not having sound available on the computer for whatever reason, or if they just like having a huge warning sign.

True enough, and an idea that would work. Still, not everybody can afford/wants an FF stick or an FF device etc etc. It's also throwing money at a problem which can admittedly work, but is it the best way of dealing with it?

If you ever see Shane online, ask him.

+1 for TT and +1 for the post becuase think tt if your deaf you cannot hear, or cannot hear well, so stress and stall horn, or any sounds volume wouldent matter

Hearing the stall horn is an issue for me....
When I fly its constantly on, its when it goes off that I worry, usually means the plane is in a nasty stall and quit flying altogether.

+1, I'd like to see multicolour icons too, as I'm color blind.

Can you change enemy icon color with the GUI preferences on the clipboard or is that map only?
I know you can change friendly icon colors....

I know, you can change them all, but whatever the color I choose, it always comes in confict with another color...example red is pretty difficult for me to see over green background.

+1 with enable/disable

anybody got the sound file of the little engine that could...."I think I can, I think I can...." would be a good replacement for the regular stall horn sound :D.

Black and White?
RR: Visual Stall: The plane "shakes" on the edge of a stall. It's already well within the Stall Buzzer range, however.
I've played with no sound before. It's rather surreal, and I don't jump out of my seat when I get shot and killed unexpectedly. Like when you're climbing out, AFK-ish, and get ripped by a burst that keeps going after you're back in the tower.

I haven't used the stall horn in so long that I forgot it was there...but, regardless, I'd give this a +1.
